Pangasinan PESO conducts seminar on Entrepreneurship

Lingayen, Pangasinan – The Provincial Employment and Services Offices (PESO) conducted Matuto sa Eksperto – Entrepreneurial Mind-setting Seminar on June 26, 2019, held at the PESO Building in Lingayen.

“Ang seminar na ito ay introduction po sa entrepreneurship para sa ating mga kababayan upang matuto sila mula sa eksperto. Ito po ay aming ginagawa upang hikayatin ang ating mga kababayan na magsimula ng kanilang sariling business,” said PESO Manager Alex Ferrer.

According to the PESO Manager, the seminar is a part of the provincial government’s Manpower and Entrepreneurship Development Program which aims to enhance the employability, productivity, and competitiveness of labor force.

“Ang ating mahal na gobernador, Gov. Amado I. Espino III, ay nakapagtapos po ng BS Entrepreneurship kung kaya’t napakalaki po ng kagustuhan niya na palaganapin ang kaalaman sa larangang ito sa ating mga kababayan upang makatulong po sila sa kanya-kanya nilang pamilya,” expressed Mr. Ferrer.

Forty students, fresh graduates and entrepreneurs from the different cities and municipalities of the province attended the seminar, administered by Mr. Allan S. Capua, Managing Director of DBC Management Consultancy Firm.

According to Capua, starting a business is one way of securing one’s financial stability.

“Itong Matuto sa Eksperto Seminar ay way para po maibahagi sa ating mga entrepreneurs at nagbabalak na maging entrepreneurs ang mga karanasan ng ating mga eksperto, at maibahagi ang kanilang kaalaman sa ating mga kababayan.,” added the PESO Manager.

Ferrer assured the Pangasinense entrepreneurs that the provincial government will continue on conducting seminars and trainings to help them on their future endeavors.

“Magkakasama po nating kakamitin ang ating layunin na gawing Number 1 ang Pangasinan sa entrepreneurship, at sa lahat po ng aspeto,” the PESO Manager stated before ending his message. /Allyn I. Vilahermosa
